With you and within you a nest is found
One, by love and trust tis bound
Within, my young and old rest sound
In this together we are gowned
Let fall more joy to us, sent down
A gift of deity's kindly crown
To live and love in time's sure round
More life and breath to give renown
In this nest my soul finds ground
Threads of light and truth are wound
Goodwill and sacredness astound
A nest that is - eternal abound
To my dear wife - whose faith in me lifts and holds me up | John
I just barely read this and it's about 2am in New York. Wish I could thank you right now, but I won't wake you up. Thank you for the poem, love you!
