Theo invited me to be his chaperone for his field trip to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.
Spring in full bloom, what a beautiful place.
Just a few days before this trip I stood in the tiny pharmacy on our street, as it poured rain on the streets of New York outside. Feeling tired of the rain, and so eagerly waiting for spring to finally show, I saw this most cheerful, spring-ish nail color. Do You Lilac It? "Yes!!" I almost said out loud, " I do lilac it". Two days later, I found myself wrapped up in cheerful blanket of the real life color.
What an adventure. Walking 18 children through the streets of the financial district, loading them on a bus, traveling across the Brooklyn Bridge, and bouncing out of the yellow bus seats.
P.s. Wouldn't it be fun to have the job "nail polish color namer". I love to read all of them, and would love to find a way to get that job one day. Any favorite colors you have?
